Subject: Zaman International School, Cambodia – Membership and Accreditation
Candidacy Status with the Council of International Schools
To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to inform you that Zaman International School, located in the city of Phnom Penh in the Kingdom of Cambodia, is a member in good standing of the Council of International Schools (CIS). CIS is a global non-profit membership organisation of approximately 700 member schools and 490 universities/colleges in 114 countries. The organisation exists to provide services to its members, notably the Accreditation Service which offers a school an improvement and recognition process. Presently, more than 460 CIS Member Schools have been granted accredited status following a directed comprehensive self-study and a rigorous evaluation by a Visiting Team.
A full list of CIS Member schools, including their Accreditation status, can be viewed in the CIS Membership Directory at any time. As a member of CIS, Zaman International School is one of these 700 schools that meet the Council’s high Membership Standards related to school operations, management, curriculum and care for students, as well as the CIS Code of Ethics. CIS Membership is recognised world-wide as meaning a school not only meets internationally- rigorous standards, but also makes a commitment to on-going school growth and improvement. Zaman International School is presently committed and heavily invested in meeting the even higher requirements to qualify for full school CIS accreditation.
