Prominent School states its ambitions with bold name change and rebranding exercise
Zaman International School, one of Phnom Penh’s most elite educational institutions, has announced a change of name which will see it become Paragon International School (Cambodia).
The decision has been officially announced by its honourary chairman, H.E. Eang Sophalleth, whose wife, Lok Chumteav Chea, is the school’s chairwoman and, also just announced, has become sole proprietor of its three campuses as well as Zaman University.
Since her acquirement of the institution in full the Board felt that a rebranding exercise was required to bring new vigour and energy to the next stage of its journey.
After a lengthy period of consultation each member of the Board agreed Paragon International School (Cambodia) was the right fit in terms of the message the School wishes to portray. The university will be known as Paragon International University (Cambodia).
The School remains a bilingual place of education where students are able to study both an international and Khmer programme. The revered Cambridge examinations are taken by students who take international classes while the National Curriculum is adhered to for the School’s local classes.
Evidence of its continuing ambitions was made evident with the announcement of a new campus now past the preliminary stages of planning. It is set to offer even more students an opportunity to benefit from the exceptional education the School offers.
As always the focus of the School’s management will remain on giving students the top education the institution has become known for in a safe and happy environment. The School will continue in its commitment to charity and serve its local community whenever it can.
